Since the first time I saw a picture of the mass lantern release in Chiang Mai I have wanted to be a part of it. This year the timing is excellent as local Yi Peng and international Yi Peng are two weeks apart which gives us loads of time to explore the area of Lanna-land of a million ricefields!
